Best Animal Hospital in town!!!!

Posted by 1LoJack on 3/26/2008

In 2003 I acquired a 1.5lb baby Pomeranian. Dr Izen, took the time, patience, and understanding with me because I was constantly taking LoJack into TMAH to see Dr Izen, simply because I didn't have a clue on how to properly feed, groom or take care of a Pomeranian. Dr Izen literally had to train & coach me when it came to the proper custody & care for such a delicate animal. You see I was one who always had big dogs, what I called junkyard dogs that you could feed them anything. I wasn't aware that the Toy Breed was a breed in itself, and Dr Izen, patiently, took my "emergency visits" because I foolishly was feeding LoJack from the table. The new purebred, toy breed is nothing like the Heinz 57 I grew up with. Trust me, I had to learn the hard way and it could have cost me thousands and thousands of dollars for something that was simple "STOP FEEDING HIM FROM THE TABLE" or "STOP CHANGING HIS FOOD" anytime he would turn his nose up. Because of my ignorance, I did go through several different types of food before I realized that this precious, adorable, tiny dog that had only weighed 2lbs when I first brought him home, had outsmarted me, and was running my house. LoJack even had me cooking for him! To me having a pet/dog of any kind is like having another child. Do people argue the cost when their children are sick? TMAH was voted #1 Top Veterinarian Hospital in Woof Magazine here in Atlanta the April, May issue of last year, 2006, you can always call the office to confirm the month. Speaking of his staff, everyone knew how overprotective and just plain scared to death that I was if ANYTHING HAPPENED TO my precious "baby." But they worked with me, they were always very patient with me, never was there anything but the utmost respect given to me & proper care given to my Pom as well as my nerves. I cannot praise this group & Dr Izen any more than I am doing now, simply because I'm running out of space. Sincerely, Gena, LoJack's Mommy

Unprofessional money-grubbing hacks

After six years of loyalty, we are leaving Terrell Mill for a vet clinic staffed by professional, knowledgable, compassionate doctors who care more about treating our pets than gouging our wallets. A simple test for hypothyroid turned into five additional tests that proved nothing. Expensive medications, unnecessary tests used to simply jack up your bill, and a useless staff that sees dollar signs with each pet has driven us away.

Saving Grace!

After I wasted a week and lots of money at a clinic - who's name I wont say - I came to Terrel Mill Animal Hospital with little faith left on what to do about my sick cat. The staff was comforting and always checking us to see if we needed anything. The facility was clean and well organized. The doctor and tecnicians were so nice, informative, and helpful. My only regret is that I didn't go to them first; because what took a week and only resulted in empty pockets, the Terrell Mill Animal Hospital only needed one morning visit and my cat was back to her normal self. They took such care and concern and treated us with such respect; I was so impressed, and walked out with the biggest relief off of my shoulders! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
