I brought my stereo in Rapid Electronics Repair to get an estimate for the repair. The pricing for the estimate was the only call that Rapid Electronics made to me in the four months they held my stereo. They estimated a one week repair for the stereo. After four months, I literally had to pry the stereo out of there hands to get it back. It was never worked on, and never repaired. They did not return one of my 15-20 phone calls I made to get an update on the "one week:" repair. It was, without a doubt, the worst customer service experience I have ever dealt with. DO NOT GO TO RAPID ELECTRONICS!

Repairman came time as promised, changed the lamp (cost for bulb was $225.00) charged $125 for labor and ALSO $59 for "service call ?" Save your $$$. Other repair shops in the yellow pages may charge upwards of $80 or $90 for a service call, HOWEVER, they don't add the fee to the total bill if you choose to have it repaired; you pay the service fee if you choose not to have them fix the item. Save your cash and verify with store IF they will waive the service call, if not, call someone else.

I took my laptop to get repaired after my laptop jack went out on 3/21/08. I paid a $20 deposit and another $90 2 days later when I was called by the the Owner/Manager "Al" Abbas Letafat to pick it up I went and picked it up and that very day the laptop jack went out again. Took it back next day and again they did not fix it saying it needed a part from Gateway. I ordered the part and took it back a week later and left it for another 2 days and again it was not working after. I demanded a refund of my monies and the owner refused claimign they had repaired it. The tech was honest enough to tell me that he didnot fix it but the Owner/Manager Abbas Letafat insisted on not returning my money to me depsite not having done thw work i contracted them to do. I am reversing the $90.00 charge on my debit card and filing a claim with the Atlanta Better Business Burea. Daylight robbery and very unethical and crooked business practises. You need to transact with a business that stands behind its work and doesnt make excuses and then try and keep your money. Thks mitch
